Our bamboo push poles start out at 20ft, and can be cut and capped at your specified length to match your boat’s needs. The foot is a robust, all wood construction, permanently affixed with epoxy. These bamboo poles are harvested, heat treated, cured, assembled, sanded, then coated in spar varnish. Put plainly: they are ready for abuse in the marine environment.
This is your first push pole to learn the mechanics of efficient skiff poling without destroying an expensive carbon fiber model. Let your buddy borrow this pole without concern of what condition it might be returned. Take this pole on adventures that you might not want to take the nice one. Buy this one, and save up for the other pole. Drop it on the concrete or oyster bar without losing sleep.
